Banker's Acceptances
Bank of Texas handles this type of negotiable time draft drawn on and accepted by Bank of Texas to finance the shipment or storage of goods. Banker's Acceptances finance both exports and imports for a future maturity date. Time drafts can be discounted and paid to the beneficiary on an "at sight" basis.

Working Capital Programs

Pre-shipment Working Capital
Labor, materials, services and allocated factory overhead for exports is available through Bank of Texas.  Work-in process inventory, engineering costs, and purchase orders for the acquisition of inventory may be included as collateral for borrowing.  Bank of Texas offers export trade financing through the support of programs with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the Export-Import Bank of the U. S. (Ex-Im Bank).

Post-shipment
Offering terms to a foreign buyer often provides the competitive edge for exporting companies. Bank of Texas offers account receivable financing for foreign accounts secured through export credit insurance of the Export Import Bank of the United States. Short term financing is available for consumable products and capital goods for terms up to a year. Bank of Texas provides attractive advance rates up to 95% of the receivable. Competitive rates and terms are available.
